I have a prayer request for my daughter and her husband-they are trying without success to get pregnant and are having some medical difficulties. You can't have to many prayer partners and I know God hears each and everyone!

Prayer request. For my husband's business to get enough work that we are able to pay the bills and rebuild our savings account.

*Update - 10/1/09:
Praise God he provided a way to prevent our house from going into foreclosure. Two days before our house was going to go into review for foreclosure we were able to pay the balance in full!
Other great news is the Lord is blessing us with child number 2 in May. Our oldest just turned 7 months old.

Is it too late to be added to your prayer list? I have been somewhat out of commission for a few months because of the craziness of life right now. Pregnant with #6, attempting to buy a house that has fallen through, becoming homeless and having to move into my mother-in-laws 2 bedroom apt because of it, now awaiting closing on another house while time is running out and still nervous things will fall through again. It has been a whirlwind, yet of course we know God is in control and His will is going to be done. We just need prayer for a healthy pregnancy and for our housing situation to work out, as well as for our eyes to be opened to what God is teaching us in this difficult time. Thank you.

I am due with Baby #4 on December 20, 2009 (my 12th wedding anniversary:) I am praying for a better pregnancy than last years. I had kidney stones and troubles with my placenta. So far, God has been good and I have been feeling ok...except for sickness...which is a given with my pregnancies:) God is so good to give us these children...when we were told by dr.'s we could not have children. (what do they know:)

My youngest daughter-Kalysa-was born at 26 weeks(6 years ago). The ONLY :) complication she now has is slight cerebral palsey effecting just her left leg. She is scheduled for surgery at the Shriner hospital(8 hrs away) in Sept. where she will stay for 1 week then 3 weeks in OKC hospital for therapy. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, strength for Kalysa and God's financial provision for our family to be able to make the trip together. Oh yea-and for me to have the faith that God is going to provide even though He has not yet shown me how-I get a little impatient:(

I am due with baby #6 September 21st. My last 2 children had seizures their first week of life. My last child was born with epilepsy and had the worst kind of seizures anyone could have...at the age of 3 days. Although the doctors at the children's hospital said they did not believe it was genetic, (or else ALL of my children would have been born with seizures) I do have a fear, a worry, a nagging thought, that this one may be born with problems as well. It troubles me. There is nothing like holding a newborn, who is writhing and turning blue, convulsing...and you can do nothing to get it to stop. The memories are awful towards the end of this pregnancy. "What if?" questions...memories of neo-natal units, a helicopter flying away with my baby...I know I need to trust God with this baby. As a woman though, I don't know that it is possible to forget my emotions and memories of the past experiences. So somehow, this is my prayer request. I'm praying simply..."Lord please help this baby to be healthy."

My personal request is for God to grant me more wisdom. Wisdom beyond my years. I need God's wisdom for so many things and I know my life's journey will not be successful without it.

I love your idea for prayer requests. I was just thinking yesterday that I need a "God tutor" (like a math tutor teaches and explains how "to do" math, but a God tutor teaches about God) because I am soooo interested in/drawn to/inspired by/longing for Him, but don't know where or how to start. And possibly, I'm a little afraid/emabarrased to get started on something so huge, that it WILL change my life. So I guess my prayer request is for the motivation (not exactly the right word, but the best i can come up with) to just dive in head first. To know where to start. To just talk to Him about anything and everything. To be the Godly mom I want to be for my son and to know how to hide the Word and Promies of God in his little heart.
