The afternoon sun is streaming in my kitchen windows. Beka has recently woken from her nap and is finishing up her snack of crackers on the kitchen table as I walk by. I am drawn to the light on her face, but even more, I am drawn to her sweet innocence. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of one of my children and I am compelled to stop and soak in their beauty, marveling that God would bless me with such a child as this. Is this really my little girl? After six girls with brown or hazel eyes, where did this blond-haired, blue-eyed baby come from? Such a precious gift from God...

Oh good grief! Those eyes! I would give her the world. :D
So pretty with rosy after-nap cheeks :0)!! All my children so far have blue eyes except one and I sometimes look at him and wonder where those pretty dark eyes came from!
Your blog is such an inspiration to me. After I finished reading the last few entries, I snuck in my childrens bedroom as they are all three napping...in one room...I just sat and watched as they slept and thanked God for the blessing and miracle they are to me.
How do you get those beautiful eyelash pictures? I can't figure that one out! She is such a doll, no doubt about it.
