Sending my oldest three off to teen camp in the morning. This is a first for us, and they are more than excited.
That leaves me with only eight kiddos for the week, 11 and under.
The good old days, right???

I only have kids under 11, too. Of course, there are only three of them...
I have mixed feelings about this. I am glad David gets to go, but we have never been apart for more than 2 nights. 4 nights seem so much longer, not to David but to me.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll survive...

To answer you question from 2 posts ago on what I'd like to see on your blog....I love that very post. Just musings on your day, what you are cooking or eating raw, how your garden is growing, what activities you all are doing. Seeing other families living their lives day in and out for the Lord is an encouragement to me.
And, I'm still chuckling to myself about your organizing left undone and studies left untouched. Thanks for being real. ;o)
Please let us know the highlights of the books you are reading. It is fun to see books through other people's eyes and to enjoy what they have learned from them.

Two years ago, all our kids were gone at the same time to camp. My husband and I had our own vacation right at home! But, that was the only time in 35 years that has happened.
And I thought Paige packed early!
